Elefend LTD. ("Elefend"). knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly - we take your privacy seriously. You can learn more about our Privacy Policy below. By using our services, you are consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy (this "Policy").

Capitalized terms which are not defined herein, shall have the meaning ascribed to them in our Terms of Use at ("Terms of Use"), into which this Privacy Policy is incorporated thereto by reference.

Our Commitment

We design our service with your privacy in mind. We involve experts from various fields, including legal, security and others to make sure that no decision is taken without respect for your privacy.

We strive to be transparent in the way we process your data. Because we use many of the same online services you do, we know that insufficient information and overly complicated language are common issues in privacy policies. We have written our Privacy Policy and related documents in plain language. We actually want you to read our policies and understand our privacy practices!

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?

This policy covers how Elefend treats personal information that Elefend collects and receives via its services and all related websites, apps, networks and any other service provided by us (collectively, our "Service"). This includes information that is personally identifiable-such as your email address, IP address, phone number and protected calls recordings.

What Information Do We Collect?

We may collect information from you in a variety of different ways. Some of this information may identify you. Information may be kept in an identifiable format, or in an aggregate format which means that you cannot reasonably be identified from it. We provide further detail on the type of info we collect, and how we collect it, below:

Information You Provide. When you subscribe for our Service, Elefend collects what is generally called "personally identifiable information", "personal information" or “personal data”. All these terms refer to information that specifically relates to or identifies a particular individual. Personal information also includes information that when linked to other information identifies a specific individual. When you register, we may ask for a limited amount of personal information, including but not limited to your contact information. When you are using our Service, you are not anonymous to us. Elefend also collects information about your transactions with us, including protected phone calls content (only calls from unknown numbers, which are not in your contact list), robocalls recordings and other information about your use of our Service. By installing the Service, you agree that all of your call recordings, from unknown callers, will be collected by and stored with Elefend and/or its third-party service providers. We will never share or disclose such information except in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

"Automatically Collected" Information. when you use the Service, we may automatically record certain information from your device. This "automatically collected" information may include your cookies, IP address or other device address or ID, web browser and/or device type, the way you interact with our app, the web pages or sites that you visit just before or just after you use the Service, the pages or other content you view or otherwise interact with on the Service, and the dates and times that you visit, access, or use the Service.

Information from Other Sources. We may obtain information, including personal information, from third parties and sources other than the Service, such as our partners. If we combine or associate information from other sources with personal information that we collect through the Service, we will treat the combined information as personal information in accordance with this Policy.

How Do We Use the Information We Collect?

We use the information we collect in a variety of ways in designing the Service, operating it and improving it, including the following:

We use the information that we collect on the Service to operate, maintain, enhance and develop the Service, and otherwise to provide support to users.

We use the information that we collect to understand and analyze the usage trends and preferences of our users, to improve the Service and develop more advanced versions of our Service.

We may use your contact or other information we collect from you (i) to receive your insights and feedback from your experience in testing the Services or (ii) to contact you for administrative purposes such as customer service, to address intellectual property infringement or other claimed violations of our terms of use or (iii) to send communications, including updates on promotions, your usage and events, relating to products and services offered by us that are related to the Service. Generally, you have the ability to opt-out of receiving any promotional communications.

We may use "cookies" information and "automatically collected" information to: (i) personalize our services, such as remembering your information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the Service; (ii) provide content and notifications about our Service; (iii) monitor and analyze the effectiveness of Service; (iv) monitor metrics such as total number of calls made, calls from unknown numbers, fraud calls. By using the Service, you authorize us to use the information we gather from you through cookies and automated collection in this way.

Device permissions: When accessing the Service through a mobile app (iOS or android) Elefend requires permissions for specific types of device data and notifications, such as contacts. Permissions are required in order for the Services to run on your device.

Sharing or Disclosing Information

We DO NOT sell customer information. We share or disclose customer information only as described below.

Except as described in this Policy, we will not disclose your information that we collect while providing the Service to third parties unless such disclosure is needed to test, improve, optimize or provide the Service. We may disclose information to third parties if you consent to us doing so, as well as in the following circumstances:

We work with third party service providers that provide website, apps development, analysis, development, QA, hosting, maintenance, virtual phone numbers, call routing, data transmission, data processing and/or storage, and other functions necessary to provide, build or optimize the Service. These third parties may have access to or process your information as part of providing those services for us. However, we limit the information provided to these service providers to that which is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions. In addition, they agree by contract to maintain the confidentiality of such information.

Additionally, we may make certain automatically-collected, aggregated, or non-personally-identifiable information available to third parties for various purposes, including (i) to monitor network traffic or activity in order to detect malicious actors and protect from malware, fraud, unlawful uses or other illegal activity, (ii) compliance with various reporting obligations; (ii) for business or marketing purposes; or (iii) to assist us and such third parties providing services to us in understanding our users’ interests, habits, and usage patterns for certain programs, content, services, advertisements, promotions, or functionality available through the Service.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with state or federal laws (such as U.S. copyright law), in response to a court order, judicial or other government subpoena or warrant, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement or other governmental agencies.

We also reserve the right to disclose your information when we believe, in good faith, that disclosure is appropriate or necessary to (i) take precautions against liability, (ii) protect ourselves or others from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses or activity, (iii) investigate and defend ourselves against any third party claims or allegations, (iv) protect the security or integrity of the Service or any facilities or equipment used to make the Service available, or (v) protect our property or legal rights (including, but not limited to, enforcement of our agreements), or the rights, property, or safety of others.

Information about our users, including personal information, may be disclosed and otherwise transferred to a potential acquirer of Elefend, or to a successor or assignee as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, as well as in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets. In the event Elefend is acquired by or merged with another company, the terms of this Privacy Policy shall continue to apply.

Information Retention Policy

Except when we believe we are required to retain your personal information by law, effective as of the date of this Privacy Policy we will only retain your personal information for two years after we become aware that you have ceased using the Service. However, we may not know if you have stopped using the Service. You need to contact us at info@elefend.com if you are no longer using the Service. We may retain other information that is not personally identifiable for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so. Additionally, any direct communications from you to our support email or employees will be retained for a lawful period pursuant to our corporate retention policy.

Your Choices and Rights

If you wish to access, change or delete personal information we hold about you, you may contact us at info@elefend.com. In addition, you may contact us to request that we not disclose your personal information to third parties (other than those that are acting as our agent to perform tasks on our behalf and necessary for us to provide the services to you, such as data processors).

Your Right to Edit and Delete Your Information

Access: you may request access to the personal information you provide;

Correction: you may have inaccurate/incomplete personal information corrected and updated;

Deletion: in certain circumstances, you can request deletion of your information. We will honor such requests unless we must retain this information to comply with a legal obligation or unless we have an overriding interest to retain it.

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please write to us at info@elefend.com and we will consider your request in accordance with applicable laws.

Keep in mind, we may reject requests for certain reasons, including if the request is unlawful or if it may infringe on the rights and freedoms of another person.

For your protection, we may ask you to provide proof of identity before we can answer the above requests.

Uninstall: You can stop all information collection by the Service by deactivating the Conditional Call Forwarding feature with your carrier and Unblocking ; Removing Elefend app / contact from your phone does NOT remove the conditional call forwarding setting you activated during the Service setup process. To completely remove the Service, you will have to follow the instructions in the the Terms of Use

If you receive commercial email from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email. You may also opt-out from receiving commercial email from us, and any other promotional communications that we may send to you from time to time, by sending your request to us by email at info@elefend.com. Please be aware that if you opt-out of receiving commercial emails from us or otherwise modify the nature or frequency of promotional communications you receive from us, it may take up to ten business days for us to process your request, and you may receive promotional communications from us that you have opted-out from during that period. Additionally, even after you opt-out from receiving commercial messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative and informative messages from us regarding the Service.

Third-Party Services

The Service may contain features or/and services provided by third parties that are not affiliated with Elefend or the Service. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of such companies. When you use the Service, third parties may collect personal information about your online activities. These third parties may also collect personal information about your online activities across different applications over time. Any information you provide on third party sites or services is provided directly to the operators of such services and is subject to those operators’ policies, if any, governing privacy and security, even if accessed through the Service. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third party services to which access is provided through the Service. We encourage you to learn about third parties’ privacy and security policies before providing them with information.


Elefend Services are intended for use by adults of age 18 or older.

Confidentiality and Security

Elefend limits internal access to your personal information to employees who we reasonably believe require this information in order to do their jobs or to operate the Services. We use reasonable and appropriate measures to help protect the integrity and security of personal information that we collect and maintain. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or store on the Service, and you do so at your own risk. We also cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. If we learn of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. We may also post a notice through the Service if a security breach occurs. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing.


Elefend may update this policy at any time. We will notify you of any material change to this policy by placing a notice in a prominent place on our site or, if applicable, contacting you through a text message or email.
